June is here and the flowers are blooming, birds are singing and it is a wonderful time to get outside and enjoy the summer months. This June has given us a lot of summer showers and I have also heard some people complaining about all the rain (it is not snow though!)  This is where reframing comes into play in life.  Reframing is a NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) term and in the act of re-framing (similar to looking at something in a new light) and creating a picture and scenario in a brand new frame of reference. This simple act will shift your perception and allow you to open up new windows of possibilities and opportunity. Our tag line and message for this month's newsletter is "Possibility - Choose, Breakthrough and Empower."

I wanted to share with you my thoughts on our current economy and how the media tries to create thoughts and feelings of rampant fear, which is an acronym for False Evidence Appearing Real.  The great thing here is that you have 'A CHOICE' to either buy into what the media is saying or choose not to play the game of fear or buy into any negative fears and beliefs.  I am one of the latter individuals who chooses to focus on the "Possibilities" that we all have and direct my attention to and discover all the facets and gems in life.  This action puts you in the driver's seat (taking back all your power = Empower) and you get to choose what news you may want to watch and/or listen to or not.  Become consciously aware of where you will direct your attention and hold a clear intention, choosing to discover the 'Possibilities" and "Opportunities" in every moment in your life.  You get to break through any barriers of fear, illusion, stress, depression, anxiety or any feelings of helplessness.

Here is my special "50th Fabulous Young" birthday cake.  I love sea shells and beaches and warm weather and my family loves cruising.  So they combined all of this and created a cake with sand (graham crackers); 1959 Chateau Moira champagne (rice crispies and icing) and icing to create the sea shells and two cruise tickets.  Lot's of fun and FABULOUS!
