March is a time when we turn our clocks forward and lose an hour of extra sleep. However, this makes us turn our attention to Spring which officially arrived on March 20, 2009.  It is a date that most of us recognize as the rite of spring and the changing of seasons.  Astronomically, on March 20, 2009, at 7:44 a.m. EDT, the Sun will cross directly over the Earth's equator.  This moment is known as the vernal equinox in the Northern Hemisphere.  In the Southern Hemisphere, this moment is known as the autumnal equinox.  

After a long, cold winter we are ready to welcome Spring, a time for renewal and rebirth.  You may feel lighter, flowers are starting to peek out in our gardens and we are ready to get outside and pack away our winter coats and boots!  If you are in school or have children in school, it is a time to take a break and do something special.  A break could be booking a holiday away to an exotic country; spending time sleeping in and watching movies; playing family games and just hanging out! Whatever it is for you, it is a time to create time for you and your loved ones.  You might even want to discover something new, possibly take a yoga or pilates class; learn how to play squash - again take the time to RELAX and BREATHE.

So, enjoy a long walk, breathe in the fresh air, get your bikes out and enjoy the sunshine as you celebrate life!

First, thank you to everyone who has contacted us in regards to this event.  We are in the process of creating a planning committee and building the teams.  Our vision is to reach the largest group of people with our message to celebrate diversity as unity and the Power of One!  Our intention is to co-create this in a really BIG WAY, so we have decided to move our launch for this Powerful event to April 2010.
